Also see - Description | RFA | Seed Grant Application In response to a request for seed grant applications issued August 15th, 2002, nineteen Letters of Intent were received by the September 15th, 2002 deadline. These Letters were reviewed by the Cousins Center Research & Education Committee whose members include Drs. Julienne E. Bower, Steven W. Cole, Chris J. Evans, John L. Fahey, Fawzy I. Fawzy, Michael R. Irwin, Bruce D. Naliboff, and Thomas F. Newton. |
The Research & Education Committee recommended that full applications be invited from ten Letter submitters and nine full proposals were received by the November 15th, 2002 deadline. Each application was reviewed by a primary, secondary and tertiary reviewer and these reviews were presented and discussed at a meeting of the full committee. In any case where a committee member had a conflict of interest on a particular application, that committee member absented him or herself from the meeting room during discussion and abstained from voting. |
