generating a close interaction of core faculty and trainees by way of sponsored lectures and seminars |

supporting core laboratories in neuroendocrinology and immunology which give all trainees access and opportunity to have “hands-on” experience and training in basic laboratory skills |

providing trainees, in conjunction with their mentor laboratory, the resources needed to carry-out their individual research projects by way of seed grants and other intramural mechanisms.
